Notice about Canada Post strikeUpdated 6 months ago
Effective November 15, 2024
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has started a national strike, and Canada Post’s operations have shut down as a result.
For orders placed after November 15th, Critical Role will make use of alternate logistics and shipping services for the duration of the strike (GLS, FedEx, UPS, etc) and you should not experience any delays caused by the strike.
However, there are other factors to consider when making a purchase due to the strike.
- Shipping to a P.O. Box is currently unavailable. Canada Strike is the only service able to deliver to P.O. Boxes.
We are unable to hold orders that cannot be delivered due to the strike. If you submit an order with an address that corresponds to a P.O. Box, the order will be canceled and refunded unless you contact us to provide an alternate shipping address.
- Orders placed before November 15th may be delayed. We are not able to cancel or refund orders that are already in transit.
If your order has not arrived and the order was placed before November 15th, it may be delayed due to the suspension of Canada Post services. If unsure, you may also contact us to check whether your order was affected.
- Pre-paid return labels are not currently available. Please refer to our policy regarding shipping costs for returns and exchanges.
“Customers are responsible for the associated shipping amount (cost to ship) and understand this is a non-refundable charge when placing online orders.”
To avoid paying for return postage for exchanges, it may be possible to wait out the strike. We are currently offering an extended return window through the end of the holidays, so you have until the end of the year to initiate your return.
- The shipping carrier is determined automatically. Determination is based on the shipping destination, weight, and size of the order.
We are not able to pre-determine the carrier, or change the carrier associated with your order.
